The BBC website has published an interesting survey a few days ago that has left me thinking a lot. This is one of the phenomena that has been inserted since the sixties (at least at the media level) between the circles of fame: the drug. .
Music, movies, art, fashion, among other circles of fame have been witnessing cases of celebrities who are attached to the drug to ever go out and die within them in the worst cases, or other recovery, but having caused extensive damage to its image and body, and having a life completely different from your previous lifestyle of addiction.

It is notable that the rise of many stars have been marked by his addiction to drugs , because it sells and generates a large-scale media attraction. The legislation also helps to mitigate this trend, as indeed receive the punishment that these celebrities do not go in any community work or a few days of detention.

The media are alerted to such situations. Amy Winehouse is a drug addict at the time, but not only, obviously. Britney Spears had recently captured much attention, and if I keep the list does not end over this post. But what happens with this?

Because celebrities have an important influence on the youth sector, to see icons of inspiration in this state can make a bit the behavior of their young followers. Made fairly cartoonish, the reasoning of a young fan with a personality that drug could be: “If X is famously successful drugs and is therefore not a bad idea to buy emulate success.”

This situation does not deserve to be neglected or hidden from view. One child is educated in two areas: the family and society (in which educational institutions are inserted, of course). If some sectors of society would show him that drugs are a path to success (beyond the personal conception one has of success), no alternative but to strengthen family education.

It is advisable not to blind the teenager in this regard. The reality is material exists, it must not be hidden. It is important to show that actually builds self regardless of what may be seen on television or in certain social circles.

One building itself and is responsible for their actions. It is important to consider this idea to understand the adolescent that he builds his own way, and that the concept of success is the need to purchase that will serve him and him alone. Perhaps making him understand this is able to distinguish between himself as a human being and the famous, and know the path that will lead to his own conception of success.

All we ever heard and why not also said, “do you feel bad? Take an aspirin. ” An aspirin appears to be the “remedy wild card” although it is a reality that we do not all do well, especially in relation to the stomach.

And new research questions the use of aspirin in diabetics. Aspirin should not be used daily to prevent heart attacks in people with diabetes , according to a recent Scottish study.

In the British Medical Journal reported that in 1,300 adults without symptoms of heart disease, drugs that can cause stomach bleeding has no benefit.

The discovery contradicts the belief that made people with diabetes use aspirin to reduce the risk of cardiac arrest. The study found that those who already had heart problems or were diagnosed with heart disease, aspirin did reduce the risks of being “dangerous event” by 25%.

However, in recent years, specialists began to focus on people who have not yet developed cardiovascular problems , but are at high risk of having them in the future as people with diabetes .

Approximately 80% of people with diabetes die of cardiovascular disease. That’s why they recommended a daily dose of aspirin as a preventive treatment.

But in recent studies in adults over 40 years of age with type 1 or type 2 diabetes and without symptoms of cardiovascular disease, there was no difference among those taking aspirin or not the taking.

That is, the intake of an aspirin a day may reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems in people who have already suffered one. Pero el estudio demostró que no hay ningún beneficio para aquellas personas con diabetes que no tuvieron problemas cardiovasculares . It is however found that taking this drug regularly may cause stomach problems.

Eating a daily aspirin for establishing healthier it is, is really something to see a specialist.

Apparently the game and the drugs and alcohol do not get along very well together, but rather those who use video games usually do not consume drugs and alcohol, according to a study.

Taking a sample of 2,000 persons between the ages of 18 and 35 years, scientists were able to verify that there is no direct relationship between those who play video games and those who consume drugs and alcohol. This sample included 40% women and 70% of those participants reported having played a game two or more times in the last month.

The factor that is out here are the areas frequented by gamers and people who engage in substance use and alcohol. Nightclubs and bars are places where consumption is concentrated drugs and alcohol, while those who use video games do not tend to frequent such places.

The study said that in the case of gamers concentration, skill and personal enrichment as demanded by games make it possible to ignore the effects that drugs and alcohol cause to individuals, as they will have what they experience when playing games .

The study is not radical, there are nuances, however the researchers made it clear that it is important to note that non-consumption trend in people who play video games . So you know, if they have a son who plays a lot to the computer should not worry much, at least with regard to their addictions .

If we talk about the most serious health problems, we can not fail to mention the phenomenon of addiction to drugs . No matter what substance is concerned, drug addiction is a disease that is difficult to escape even when the addict is willing to do so. Today we examine the causes of drug addiction : we will take them into account to prevent this major problem.

Curiosity. Many people fall into the drugs out of curiosity, based on what they have ever heard of them. Others, especially teens, the adrenaline of doing something they know is forbidden.

Pressures of life. Family matters, love or work are situations that create depression, stress or distress, to escape them, many are drawn unwittingly into the world of drugs . Either way, it is known that rather than escape from a problem, falls in another perhaps worse.

Contact with drug users. If you have a person suffering an addiction in your area familar or friends is much easier to get in contact with the drug. In the case of cigarettes, for example, if both parents are smokers is possible that the son can be.

Social pressure. A common phenomenon among teenagers is that they go to the drug through the influence of certain friends, “to be accepted” within their peer group. Another type of pressure is having, for example, athletes sometimes consume certain substances to improve performance.

Easy access. When we talk about drug laws, such as cigarettes or alcohol, is much easier to fall into temptation and reach them at the time the person wishes.

Drugs prescribed. Not only snuff, alcohol, marijuana and cocaine, among other substances, generate addiction. We also prescription medications that the doctor can lead to dependence, such as antidepressants, painkillers and stimulants.

For many women who have already past their puberty, they might realize the identity of being a woman. For many women, being a woman is being beauty. But for women who want to be beauty, they need to be aware of cellulites. Cellulite is irregularity in skin that usually appears as dimples, bumps, and wrinkles in your skin. Cellulite can be easily found anywhere in our body start from hips, butts, belly, even arms. This irregularity are said to be caused by genetic factor, change in metabolism, hormones, or alteration of skins whether it is naturally or not.

Since many people are concerned about cellulite reducing their beauty, many cosmetic companies make products that deal in cellulite treatments. Cellulite treatment products might be alternative if you think that operation is too costly; though it may took longer time and discipline before they show their effect.

Cellulite creams can reduce the cellulite as it contains agents that burns the piled body fat below your skin. Through regular usage, you can remove the wrinkles, bumps, and dimples that usually appear as the signs of cellulites. Usually, you can see the changes within 30 days after use. But you need to be careful with the preservatives used in certain products. Compounds such as Dioxanes and Parabens can make your skins become rash and irritated instead of tight and smooth.

If you were the typical always got 10 in the school as a child and now easily reach success in any venture work, then do not be surprised every time you exceed drinks. One study showed that smart women drink more alcohol .

Researchers from the London School of Economics concluded that the higher the educational level of a woman, the greater your chances of drinking and therefore have problems of alcoholism . But it would be no accident, for college women usually have children later, have greater social life or work in places dominated by men and the culture of alcohol. This increases their contact with the beverage.

While the study did not ascertain the quantities of alcohol women drink, the relationship between the degree of intelligence and willingness to alcohol is very strong. Both can be predicted in childhood: to analyze the qualifications of a girl of only five years will be known whether a certain inclination towards alcohol in her adult life. In this sense, high or average scores indicate that there is 2.1 more likely to drink alcohol daily in adulthood than those children with lower qualifications.

This correlation between intelligence and alcohol consumption is also evident in men, but not as intensely as in females. So you know, if you’re an intelligent woman, be very careful when you offer.

It was wrongly categorized as a disorder no different from schizophrenia or other psychoses, which is why many alcohol rehab and drug treatment centers have their roots in mental health hospitals and mental health treatment.

To this day, drug and alcohol rehabilitation rehab programs in hospitals are often directly related to mental health treatment and behavioral health treatment offered, or are combined into dual diagnosis treatment centers.

This is known as dual diagnosis treatment. There are so many drug rehab centers, alcohol rehab programs and dual diagnosis treatment centers to choose from that the task can be daunting.

Drug Rehab Centers, Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs and Treatment Centers

“Drug Rehab Center”, “treatment center ‘,’ alcohol rehabilitation center ‘,’ treatment program” and “substance abuse treatment center” are all words used to describe basically the same – a safe and supportive environment for recovery from drug addiction and / or alcoholism. They usually take the form of a residential addiction treatment center, but may also be intensive outpatient treatment or day treatment programs, or day / night treatment programs – a type of treatment center that takes the same form and provides many of the same services as a residential treatment center or alcohol rehab center, but uses more than one location for treatment – often a center for counseling and group therapy a day and a residential setting at night. Alcohol and drug treatment centers, whether they are private treatment centers or day / night treatment programs, all provide a caring, safe and supportive setting to recover from drug addiction and alcoholism.

Outpatient drug rehab programs and intensive outpatient drug rehab programs are more aptly suited to individuals who have already completed a higher degree of care as the primary residential drug treatment, or individuals that addiction to drugs – whatever drugs – alcohol, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines (meth, crystal meth, speed), other opiates (Vicodin, Oxycontin, morphine, methadone), barbiturates and benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Ativan, Klonipin to name a few) is less severe. Outpatient treatment programs are also appropriate for cases where drugs are already out of the individual’s system through a process of detoxification, whether it is rapid opiate detox for heroin addiction, substitution therapy and detoxification for opiate dependence (using more cutting edge treatments such as Subutex, Suboxone, Buprenex or Buprenorphine), or more traditional detox from drugs and alcohol using benzodiazepines or barbiturates to treat withdrawal symptoms.

People who hope to find success in an outpatient treatment program must already have some degree of distance from drug addiction, alcohol abuse or alcoholism, and must be stable and have the ability to function in an uncontrolled environment when not in treatment centers for rehabilitation services .
