The high consumption of drugs among students creates a climate in school that is destructive to learning.

Research shows that this may cause a drop in school performance. It has been found that this is true for students who excel in school before taking drugs, and for those who have behavioral problems at school or before eating. According to one study, students who use marijuana are twice as likely to get a lower average than others. Often low grades began to improve when you stop using drugs.

Drugs Why is not legalized

drugsQuite a few years ago I have been saying (and here are my articles) that drugs should be legalized and therefore counter, but that it controlled by the state and for a better and “beneficial” effect within the evils of this business . Recall once more the arguments that led me to this and that last time I have changed his mind, but rather affirm.

What Is the Scope Of Heroin Use In the U.S.?

heroinAccording to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 2003-which actually may have underestimated the use of illicit opiates (heroin) – about 3.7 million people had used heroin at some point in their life, and more 119,000 of them reported having used in the month preceding the survey.

An estimated 314,000 Americans used heroin in the year preceding the survey, and the group with the largest number of users was that of those over 26 years. (more…)
